Sustain the Impact Workshop for SMARTER Leaders (Light)
Following the Sustain the Impact Workshop for SMARTER Leaders, another workshop under the same theme was organised for the SMARTER Leaders (Light) from October 29 to October 30, 2018.
Through a variety of activities, the SMARTER Leaders (Light) evaluated the status of their Task Forces and mapped out their key stakeholders. They strengthened their skills in leading upwards, and practised dialogues with the senior level.
“I realised that decisions may not be always made by my supervisor. I can also provide my input and influence other people in the decision-making process,” one of the participants shared.
The Workshop provided useful techniques on influencing others to achieve triple-win among self, the other and the organisation. Participants also identified ways to tap into their own strengths to achieve the best results.
‘Passion is one of my strengths, but usually my passion only lasts for a short while. This session led me to think about how to develop my passion for a long term,” remarked another participant.
Following the Workshop, a lunch seminar will be organised in November for the SMARTER Leaders (Light) to keep updated on the SMARTER@HKU Programme.
