Colleagues came together to celebrate the outstanding achievements of the recipients and finalists of the 2018 Professional Services Individual and Team Awards.
SMARTER Leaders (Light) evaluated the status of their Task Forces, mapped out their key stakeholders and strengthened their skills in leading upwards, influening others and identifying their own strengths. More details

Colleagues and students joined the grand opening of the new restaurants under the University's new campus catering concept. The new restaurants are EAT at the main campus, Social Kitchen at the Jockey Club Student Village I and Village II, Social Kitchen – Bayview at the Sassoon Road campus and Dockside at Cyberport.
Task Force Leaders and Deputy Leaders, Faculty Secretaries and members of the SMARTER@HKU Programme Management Office got together to discuss the SMARTER@HKU Programme, including its goals, progress and next steps.
SMARTER Leaders learned more about their leadership styles and ways to coach and develop trust with the others at the Workshop. The skills are important as they lead their Task Forces for the continuous improvement initiatives of the SMARTER@HKU Programme.
SMARTER Leaders (Light) strengthened their leadership skills in leading change, coaching, giving and receiving feedback, building trust and managing conflicts at the Workshop.
Colleagues from different Faculties and departments joined the Work SMARTER Days to update themselves on the SMARTER@HKU Programme and discover useful practices of working smarter at the booth games. They also learnt more about continuous improvement at the Talk by guest speaker Mr. Charles Ho, Global Training Manager of MTR Corporation.
